Job summary

ByteDance invites interns to design and develop ML algorithms tackling financial compliance risks across live streaming and e-commerce contexts. You will explore AI advances such as LLMs, generative AI, and multimodal methods while handling image, text, and multimodal data.

You will work under guidance on datasets and model training, with a focus on practical security applications in internet platforms, and contribute to cutting-edge research in a fast-moving tech environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, data science or other related disciplines.
• Experienced in AI modeling, familiar with at least one framework of TensorFlow / PyTorch / MXNet.
• Has good learning and communication skills, a strong sense of curiosity and responsibility, a spirit of exploration, and self-motivation.

• Preferred Qualifications:- Published relevant papers in high-level international conferences and academic journals (including but not limited to CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NIPS, ICML, AAAI, TPAMI, IJCV, etc.), or won awards in high-level competitions;
• Relevant internship experience with hands on exposure to the tech stack;
• Interested in payment industry
