Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a recent graduate to join the Global Payment team and support AML/compliance operations, transaction monitoring, and policy enhancements. You will gain exposure to risk assessments and data analysis in a fintech context.

Collaborating with regional and global teams, you will help design monitoring rules, maintain dashboards, and contribute to process improvements that ensure a secure, seamless payments experience for users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Data Science or related discipline.
• Internship experience in payment, data analysis, or related fields.
• Data analysis skills and practical knowledge of SQL/Excel and other analysis tools.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Effective problem solver and possesses excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work methodically and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to compliance operations by executing AML-related tasks, identifying and documenting compliance risks, and implementing solutions in alignment with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with business units to understand business models and inherent risk exposures. Detect suspicious transactions and assist in developing effective transaction monitoring rules.
• Design and maintain monitoring effectiveness matrices and dashboards to assess rule performance.
• Support the development and ongoing enhancement of policies and procedures across the transaction monitoring lifecycle, including rule validation, system optimization, and underlying data analysis.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to support the implementation and refinement of transaction monitoring process.
