Job summary

Bizhub Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a dependable kitchen operative to support inflight meal preparation in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.

You will guide production staff, coordinate with the team to assemble and dispatch meals on schedule, and uphold food safety and HACCP standards. Proficiency in English, ability to lift up to 25 kg, and willingness to work a 6-day rotating shift are required. Experience in catering or airline operations is an advantage; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a multicultural team.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Proficient in English and comfortable using computer systems and basic office applications.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and food handling procedures.
• Able to work a 6‑day work week on rotating shifts.
• Experience in catering, food production, or airline catering operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work in a commercial kitchen environment preparing inflight meals.
• Retrieve passenger load information from internal systems and support meal assembly operations based on flight schedules.
• Ensure timely completion of meal preparation and assembly according to production schedules.
• Guide and monitor production staff to maintain operational efficiency.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and quality requirements.
• Operate kitchen equipment, including metal detectors and sealing machines.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure meals are prepared and dispatched on schedule.
