Job summary

Rapid Recruitment Asia Pte Ltd is seeking personnel for an aviation catering coordination role at Changi Airport. The position involves serving as the main liaison between dispatch and cabin crew, checking meal orders, coordinating preparation and loading of meals, and ensuring timely delivery to aircraft.

The role requires flexibility for rotating shifts, strong communication, physical fitness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support on-time departures.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification OR experience in aviation, flight operations, catering, logistics, warehouse, ramp or ground operations is preferred.
• Good communication skills and able to liaise effectively with cabin crew, dispatch teams and ground staff.
• Physically fit and able to climb onto aircraft catering equipment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Responsible, organized and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Comfortable working rotating shifts, including early morning, night, weekend and public holiday shifts.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison between the dispatch team and cabin crew for assigned flights.
• Check flight documents, meal orders, quantities and special meal requirements.
• Coordinate the preparation, dispatch and loading of meals and catering equipment.
• Ensure catering items are delivered to the correct aircraft on time.
• Board the aircraft to hand over catering items and communicate with cabin crew.
• Handle last-minute meal requests, changes and discrepancies.
• Ensure catering orders are acknowledged and properly signed off.
• Monitor catering operations until the assigned flight departs.
• Complete flight closure and required documentation in SAP.
• Ensure all assigned flight catering activities are completed accurately and on time.
