Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced air freight operations professional to oversee end-to-end import and export activities, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

You will handle documentation (HAWB/MAWB, manifests), coordinate with customers, airlines, forwarders, brokers, and warehouses, monitor progress, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements to boost service quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversaw end-to-end air import and export operations, ensuring shipments were processed accurately and delivered on schedule.
• Prepared, reviewed, and processed HAWB/MAWB, manifests, billing documents, cost entries, shipment tracking records, and pre-alert documentation for overseas agents.
• Coordinated with customers, airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouse teams, and overseas offices to facilitate seamless cargo movement.
• Monitored shipment progress and proactively managed delivery schedules to meet customer expectations and service levels.
• Ensured compliance with SOPs, airline regulations, customs requirements, and international freight forwarding standards.
• Maintained accurate shipment records and updated freight management systems to support operational efficiency and shipment visibility.
• Processed cargo bookings, declarations, and documentation submissions to airlines, carriers, and co-loaders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identified and implemented process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency, service quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Partnered with internal teams and external stakeholders to investigate shipment issues, resolve discrepancies, and minimize operational delays.
• Performed additional operational and administrative duties as assigned by Management.

Job Description

• Prepared, reviewed, and processed House Air Waybills (HAWB), Master Air Waybills (MAWB), manifests, billing documents, cost entries, shipment tracking records, and pre-alert documentation for overseas agents.
• Coordinated closely with customers, airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, transport providers, warehouse teams, and overseas offices to facilitate seamless cargo movement.
• Monitored shipment progress and proactively managed delivery schedules to meet customer expectations and agreed service levels.
• Ensured full compliance with customer requirements, company standard operating procedures (SOPs), airline regulations, customs requirements, and international freight forwarding standards.
• Maintained accurate shipment records and updated freight management systems to support operational efficiency and shipment visibility.
• Processed cargo bookings, declarations, and documentation submissions to airlines, carriers, and co-loaders in a timely and accurate manner.
