CENTRUM SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD is seeking an experienced Air Freight Logistics Manager to lead air freight operations in Singapore. This full-time role focuses on optimizing air cargo forwarding, ensuring compliance, and driving profitability across the air freight portfolio.

You will manage a team, coordinate bookings, handle customs documentation, and maintain strong airline and client relationships to meet time-sensitive shipping requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in air freight forwarding or air cargo logistics management.
• Proven track record of leading logistics teams.
• Strong knowledge of international air freight procedures, IATA regulations, and customs documentation requirements.
• Experience with freight forwarding systems and logistics software platforms.
• Excellent negotiation skills with airline partners and clients.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Knowledge of Singapore's logistics landscape is highly desirable.
• CIFFA or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all air freight operations, including import, export, and transit shipments.
• Oversee booking coordination, customs clearance documentation, and regulatory compliance for air cargo.
• Liaise with airlines, ground handlers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations and timely cargo movement.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive customer updates on delivery status and any potential delays.
• Manage revenue optimisation through rate negotiations and cost control measures whilst maintaining service quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key airline partners, freight forwarders, and corporate clients.
• Ensure compliance with international air freight regulations, including IATA guidelines and customs requirements.
• Lead, mentor and develop the air freight team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Prepare operational reports and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Handle escalated customer issues and implement solutions to maintain customer satisfaction and retention.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Logistics Manager to join CENTRUM SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD in a full-time capacity. This role is based in the One North Central Region and offers the opportunity to lead and manage air freight operations within our dynamic logistics division. As Air Freight Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of air cargo forwarding, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining service excellence, and driving profitability across our air freight portfolio. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in meeting our clients' time-sensitive shipping requirements and maintaining CENTRUM SOLUTIONS' reputation as a leading freight forwarding partner.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in air freight forwarding or air cargo logistics management
• Proven track record of successfully managing air freight operations and leading logistics teams
• Strong knowledge of international air freight procedures, IATA regulations, and customs documentation requirements
• Experience with freight forwarding systems and logistics software platforms
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with airline partners and clients
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; additional language skills are advantageous
• Sound understanding of pricing models, cost control, and revenue management in freight forwarding
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and manage team members effectively
• Knowledge of regional air freight markets and familiarity with Singapore's logistics landscape is highly desirable
• Relevant certifications such as CIFFA (Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association) or equivalent are preferred
