Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Air Freight Import operations specialist to manage end-to-end shipments from pre-alert to delivery. You will verify documents, coordinate with overseas agents, and ensure accurate customs declarations in Singapore.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, familiarity with Sysfreight or similar freight software, and strong English and Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Air Freight Import operations.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software (e.g., Sysfreight) is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of local customs regulations, licensing, and permit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end air import shipments, including receiving pre-alerts, verifying documents (AWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List), and coordinating with overseas agents.
• Prepare and lodge import declarations via the local customs system and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with airlines, trucking companies, and warehouse handlers for timely cargo collection and delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status, delays, and documentation requirements; provide proactive updates.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, including delays, documentation discrepancies, and rate disputes.

  • Operation Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of air import shipments, including receiving pre-alerts, verifying shipping documents (AWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List), and coordinating with overseas agents.
