Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in air freight export operations, cargo capacity planning or airline coordination.
• Knowledge of air freight consolidation, ULD planning or build-up, carrier capacity and export workflows.
• Ability to consider cargo volumes, shipment dimensions, capacity constraints and flight schedules when preparing uplift plans.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable using air freight or transport management systems.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills to respond to operational changes and shipment exceptions.

• Plan cargo consolidation and ULD build-up to improve space utilisation and cost efficiency.
• Monitor airline capacity use and coordinate extra space with procurement.
• Coordinate ULD availability and rotation with Gateway, ground handling partners and airline teams.
• Work with Customer Service on booking information and shipment priorities, and coordinate handover plans with ground handling teams.
• Track planned versus actual uplift; follow up on rollovers, offloads and delays.
• Analyze load utilisation, capacity costs and shipment data to identify planning improvements.
• Ensure planning data and handover instructions meet applicable operating and aviation safety requirements.

About the role

We are looking for an Air Freight Capacity Planning Specialist to plan export cargo flows, optimise available capacity and improve ULD utilisation for our Singapore air freight operations. You will work with Customer Service, Procurement, the Gateway team, ground handling partners and airline representatives to turn cargo demand into executable uplift plans.

Key responsibilities

• Review forecast and confirmed cargo volumes, available capacity and flight schedules to prepare export uplift plans.

• Plan cargo consolidation and ULD build-up requirements to improve space utilisation and cost efficiency.

• Monitor the use of allocated airline capacity and coordinate additional space requirements with the Procurement team.

• Coordinate ULD availability and rotation with the Gateway team, ground handling partners and relevant airline teams.

• Work with Customer Service on booking information and shipment priorities, and coordinate build-up and handover plans with ground handling teams.

• Monitor planned versus actual uplift; follow up on rollovers, offloads and delays, and coordinate recovery actions.

• Analyse load utilisation, capacity costs and shipment data to identify planning improvements.

• Ensure planning information and handover instructions are accurate and aligned with applicable operating and aviation safety requirements.

About you
