Job summary

S. F. EXPRESS (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Air Freight Capacity Planning Specialist to optimise export uplift plans, improve ULD utilisation, and coordinate with customers, procurement and gateway teams in Singapore.

The role requires at least 3 years in air freight export operations, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with transport management systems to manage capacity, space, and flight schedules effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in air freight export operations or related roles.
• Experience with cargo capacity planning, ULD planning or build-up.
• Ability to analyse volumes, dimensions, capacity, and flight schedules.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with transport management systems.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills to handle operational changes.

Responsibilities

• Review forecast cargo volumes, capacity and flight schedules to create export uplift plans.
• Plan cargo consolidation and ULD build-up to optimise space and cost.
• Monitor airline capacity usage and coordinate extra space with Procurement.
• Coordinate ULD availability with Gateway, ground handling and airline teams.
• Work with Customer Service on booking information and shipment priorities.
• Monitor uplift vs actuals and coordinate recovery actions.
• Analyse load utilisation, capacity costs and shipment data for improvements.
• Ensure planning info and handover instructions comply with safety requirements.
