Job summary

Vocalbeats.AI in Singapore is seeking a proactive AI Application Builder to design and optimize prompts across multiple AI tools, translating user goals into effective prompt strategies and ensuring high-quality outputs. You will collaborate with Product, ML, and Design teams, benchmark models, and contribute to internal knowledge bases, with opportunities to explore model fine-tuning and RAG techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in CS, AI, EE, Math, computational linguistics or related STEM fields.
• Solid understanding of LLM fundamentals and prompt engineering principles.
• Strong product thinking with user goals and real usage contexts in prompts.
• Clear, structured communication with strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand core features and usage scenarios of multiple AI tools and design prompts accordingly.
• Translate user tasks into well‑structured prompt strategies to improve accuracy and usefulness.
• Evaluate prompt effectiveness with small tests, metrics, and user feedback; iterate with outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, ML/Algorithm, and Design teams to align prompts with product logic.
• Summarize reusable prompt patterns and build an internal knowledge base for expansion.
• Track advances in LLMs and select suitable prompting approaches per model and scenario.
• Participate in explorations of model fine-tuning and optimization (RAG, SFT, LoRA).

What You Will Do:

• Learn and deeply understand the core features, target users, and usage scenarios of multiple AI tools (e.g., writing, image, voice), and conduct prompt design and iterative tuning based on real-world workflows.
• Translate product logic and users’ key tasks into well-structured prompt strategies; optimize prompt structure and content to improve response accuracy, usefulness, consistency, and controllability.
• Evaluate prompt effectiveness through small-sample testing, metric monitoring, and user feedback; drive continuous iteration with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with Product, ML/Algorithm, and Design teams to align prompts with product feature logic, ensuring quality and stability across critical user journeys.
• Summarize reusable prompt patterns and best practices across scenarios; build an internal knowledge base to support fast expansion across the product portfolio.
• Track advances in frontier LLM capabilities and compare outputs across different models (e.g., GPT, Claude, ERNIE Bot, Qwen); select or adapt the most suitable prompting approaches per model and scenario.
• Gradually participate in explorations of model fine-tuning and application-layer optimization (e.g., RAG, SFT, LoRA), developing capabilities at the intersection of product understanding and model optimization.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computational Linguistics, or related STEM fields.
• Solid understanding of LLM fundamentals and limitations; hands-on experience with prompt engineering or a strong, demonstrated grasp of prompt design principles.
• Strong product thinking: able to design and optimize prompts starting from user goals, product positioning, and real usage contexts.
• Clear and structured communication with strong writing skills; able to precisely control output tone, format, and structure.
• Familiar with basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) and capable of quantifying and analyzing prompt performance.
• English proficiency at CET-6 or above; strong reading and written communication skills to work with English technical documentation and debug English prompts.
• High curiosity and learning agility; motivated to become an “AI application builder” who understands both business and models, and willing to go deep into product-facing scenarios to continuously improve LLM performance.
