Job summary

Singtel is building a customer-facing AI engineering function inside Customer Success to turn AI conversations into signed pilots. Engineers work with customers from exploring meetings to live pilots, becoming the technical reason a customer says yes.

The role spans applied AI engineering and business value engineering, including prototypes, reference deployments, TCO modelling, and pre-sales support. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience directly with engineers and executives.
• Hands-on with LLMs, agents, tool-calling and retrieval.
• Excellent written and spoken communication for mixed audiences.
• Ability to reason about business value and cost tradeoffs (TCO).
• Solid grasp of backend fundamentals and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Scope opportunities with CS and Sales to understand the problem and define what to build.
• Build prototypes and demos that win deals, with live demonstrations when possible.
• Size platform requirements: GPU sizing, benchmarking, and model fit.
• Support pilots with guidance, tuning, and transition to production teams.
• Create reusable assets and templates from common patterns across customers.
• Be the technical face of RE:AI to customer engineers, architects and CXOs.
• Prepare technical content for tenders and pre-sales, including architecture sections.
• Model the commercial case with TCO and token economics explanations for executives.
• Contribute to thought leadership, reference architectures, and GTM materials.
