Job summary

Amperesand PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a student intern to help build and ship an ERP/manufacturing platform. You will work across frontend and backend, shipping new features and AI-enabled capabilities, while collaborating with engineers and product teams.

You will gain hands-on experience with Go, TypeScript, and React, and leverage AI tooling to automate parts of development, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Go for backend development (coursework, projects, or internship).
• Experience with TypeScript and React, including component-based development and state management.
• Exposure to AI/LLM concepts and hands-on experience with applied AI tooling (LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented search, prompting).
• Comfort using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Copilot in IDEs to write, review, and test code.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Available to work on-site at Reno, NV or the Bay Area, USA (5 days/week).
• Ideal internship duration: at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Build and support full-stack features for internal ERP and manufacturing platform (Go backend and TS/React frontend).
• Design and implement AI-enabled features like semantic search, document summarization, and data extraction.
• Implement retrieval and embedding pipelines, LLM APIs, prompts, and frontend patterns for AI outputs.
• Use AI-assisted tools like Cursor or Claude to improve velocity and code quality.
• Contribute to observability, dashboards, and metrics for system visibility.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to speed up releases.
• Automate developer workflows with agentic AI for testing, PR reviews, and deployments.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams to define APIs and data contracts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for ERP/manufacturing users; write clean, tested code and review peers.
• Document features and decisions for cross-functional stakeholders.
