Job summary

Standard Chartered in Singapore seeks an Associate Director, Business Risk Management WRB SG to lead end-to-end process risk identification, assessment and mitigation for WRB Singapore, with a focus on retail banking risks and AI-enabled initiatives.

You will collaborate with Process Owners, Front Office, Operations, Technology and Compliance to ensure controls meet ERMF standards, support risk assessments, audits and remediation, and promote a strong risk culture across WRB Singapore.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in retail banking or wealth management risk, covering operational, conduct, regulatory, data privacy risk and governance.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products, customer journeys and control frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI, data governance, consumer protection, data privacy and ethical use of technology in banking.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed (risk/analytics/finance).
• Certifications such as AIGP CRISC CISA or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification and management of end-to-end risks within WRB Singapore processes and associated risk management activities.
• Provide independent challenge on business strategies, changes, new products and emerging risks; promote risk awareness.
• Ensure adherence to ERM framework, governance and regulatory requirements; coordinate risk incident management and remediation.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Process Owners, Operations, Technology and Audit to strengthen risk governance.
• Support assessment and governance of AI/ML risks arising from new/change initiatives.
