Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in operational risk and controls across frontline and risk roles.
• Solid understanding of the Group Operational Risk Framework and applying it in a First Line environment.
• Proven problem-solving with pragmatic solution design.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust, compliant First Line of Defence risk/control capability.
• Provide guidance to meet Second Line directives (Compliance, Operational Risk, InfoSec, Resilience).
• Protect the Bank and IWPB from operational losses through strong risk identification and escalation.
• Be a key point of contact for IWPB Senior Management on compliance and risk matters.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Financial Crime & Fraud Risk, and other teams to embed controls.
• Coordinate and produce governance materials for Risk Management Meetings and forums.
• Ensure adherence to Group Standards and regulatory expectations and strengthen internal controls.
• Drive use of risk tools and processes (RCA, CMA reviews, HELIOS, dashboards, MSIIs) and monitor RCA scoping.
