Job summary

DBS Asia Hub in Singapore is seeking a senior Risk Management professional to identify and escalate operational risks, perform risk assessments, and support remediation within Banking Operations. You will contribute to a robust control framework and collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain risk standards.

The role requires deep experience in banking operations, strong analytical skills, and a drive to promote risk awareness through training and workshops across groups.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Business or Banking and Finance.
• At least 7 years of experience in Banking Operations.
• Meticulous and analytical with strong risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Identify, report and escalate emerging operational risk following the group framework.
• Manage operational risk issues, including reporting, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Perform control validation, risk assessments on Ops processes, and CQA testing for Ops metrics/KRI/GLAO.
• Conduct process deep-dives on TAT and GLAO ownership.
• Review risks for new processes from product launches or process automation.
• Support initiatives under Ops Risk Metrics/GLAO & MJE, from requirements to UAT and rollout.
• Promote risk awareness via trainings and workshops; liaise with Group Risk/Compliance/Finance.
