Job summary

HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited is seeking an AVP RBWM Risk and Control RBWM CCO to strengthen governance, oversee risk and ensure controls across Retail Banking and Wealth Management.

You will partner with product, technology and risk teams to embed risk considerations in strategy and changes, coordinate privacy and regulatory submissions, and lead reviews to uplift control discipline while fostering a strong risk culture.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Operational Risk and Controls and resilience.
• Pragmatic problem-solving with remediation follow-through.
• Strong communication and influencing across senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the First Line of Defence for Risk & Control, strengthening governance and managing non-financial risk.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed risk and controls in product strategy, customer journeys and IT changes.
• Coordinate with the Data Privacy Officer on breach reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure non-financial risk (NFR) requirements are designed in, risks assessed, controls defined, residual risk understood.
• Establish/maintain operational controls aligned to the Group ORMF.
• Lead targeted reviews to identify gaps and uplift controls.
• Promote a strong risk and compliance culture, prioritising resilience for customers and regulators.
