Job summary

Standard Chartered Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to strengthen PvB risk and control governance across Singapore and Hong Kong. You will drive process improvements, coordinate with Front Office and control partners, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance client experience while maintaining robust controls.

The role requires deep PvB domain knowledge, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Private Banking risk and control, with strong understanding of PvB clients and processes.
• Proven track record of delivering change and managing risk and controls.
• Ability to work across business streams and front-to-back system implementations.
• Familiarity with regulatory landscape across Asia and pricing and cross-border topics.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PvB governance for SG and HK, ensuring adherence to risk and control standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and reputational risks to the Group.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management to implement process requirements.
• Lead cross-functional change initiatives and document project gaps, impacts and risks.
• Coordinate working groups, governance meetings and key stakeholder communications.
