Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a Probe Shift Equipment Technologist to enable Parametric and Functional testing with hands-on maintenance and rapid issue resolution.

You will collaborate with engineers, production, and process partners to identify equipment problems, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to safeguard yield, quality, and cycle time. Emphasis on data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled health monitoring.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
• Hands-on competence with semiconductor Probe equipment in a production setting.
• Experience applying 5-Why, 8D, FMEA, or Lean tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication for shift handovers and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to work in a 12-hour shift-based environment and respond to dynamic production demands.
• Interest in automation, data analytics, or AI applications in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Probe operations.
• Baseline digital fluency and AI literacy for AI-enabled tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver shift-based technical assistance for Probe equipment, including operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery to ensure stable manufacturing output.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including BOM checks, consumable management, and SOP adherence to sustain equipment performance.
• Conduct equipment data analysis and root-cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods (5-Why, 8D) to resolve recurring issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including equipment optimization, process stabilization, and adoption of best-known methods.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement AI-enabled solutions for equipment health detection and performance optimization.
• Maintain communication with production and process partners for alignment on priorities and shift handovers.
• Promote a Safe and Green working environment by following safety procedures and supporting sustainability initiatives.
• Document technical findings, corrective actions, and lessons learned for knowledge sharing.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency and quality.
