Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a MRDA Technician to support Metrology and RealTime Defects Analysis in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

You will perform measurements, operate inspection tools, collect data, monitor processes, and assist with defect investigations and improvement projects. The role requires a Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma or equivalent in a related field, strong communication, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts (Morning/Night).

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience in semiconductor fabrication processes preferred.
• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform metrology and defect detection using established recipes to provide quick feedback on product integrity.
• Operate inspection and metrology tools to support defect detection.
• Collect and organize measurement data for engineer review and root cause analysis.
• Monitor processes using SPC charts and identify deviations, escalating promptly.
• Support tool maintenance, recovery, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist engineers with data gathering and preliminary checks during defect investigations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to reduce measurement variability and improve tool availability.
• Maintain competency in recipe maintenance and basic recovery procedures.
