Job summary

Aleph PTE. LTD. is seeking an AI Data Engineer in Singapore to deliver data, analytics, automation and AI-enabled capabilities for internal platforms. You will design, build and document scalable data components, reconcile structured and unstructured data, and produce explainable outputs for decision-making.

You will work with engineers, product owners and business SMEs to ensure secure, auditable, and production-ready solutions, with an emphasis on data quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on Python experience.
• Experience in software/data engineering or AI engineering.
• Knowledge of data modelling, data transformation, and data validation.
• Experience building backend services, data pipelines and APIs.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data-driven or AI-enabled solution components.
• Build backend services, data pipelines and APIs.
• Integrate solutions with dashboards and internal platforms.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from internal sources.
• Produce explainable outputs like recommendations and summaries.
• Implement logging, traceability, auditability and review controls.
• Support testing, SIT/UAT and production readiness.
• Collaborate with SMEs, product owners and tech teams.
• Prepare technical docs, data mappings and deployment notes.
• Ensure components are secure, scalable, reusable and supportable.
