Job summary

Aleph is seeking a highly skilled AI Data Engineer to support data, analytics, automation and AI-enabled capabilities for internal enterprise platforms. You will design, build, integrate and document practical solutions that are secure, explainable, maintainable and aligned with enterprise standards.

You will work across business, technology and delivery teams to create scalable data solutions, pipelines and APIs, handling structured and unstructured data and producing explainable outputs for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• Strong hands-on Python experience.
• Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or intelligent automation.
• Experience building backend services, APIs and data pipelines.
• Good understanding of data modelling, transformation and system integration.
• Experience with enterprise dashboards or reporting platforms.

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Data Engineer to support the delivery of data, analytics, automation and AI-enabled capabilities for internal enterprise platforms. You will work across business, technology and delivery teams to design, build, integrate and document practical solutions that are secure, explainable, maintainable and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data-driven, analytics-based, automation or AI-enabled solution components.
• Build backend services, data pipelines, APIs, integration logic and reusable technical components.
• Integrate solutions with existing dashboards, internal platforms, workflow tools and approval processes.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from approved internal sources.
• Produce explainable outputs such as recommendations, benchmarks, variance indicators, exception flags, summaries or supporting rationale.
• Implement appropriate logging, traceability, auditability and human review controls.
• Support requirement clarification, solution design, development, testing, SIT, UAT and production readiness.
• Work closely with business SMEs, product owners, technology teams and delivery stakeholders.
• Prepare technical documentation, data mapping, test evidence, deployment notes and handover materials.
• Ensure delivered components are secure, scalable, reusable and supportable.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or a relevant equivalent discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Python.
• Hands‑on experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, AI engineering or intelligent automation
• Working knowledge of one or more additional programming, scripting or query languages.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, data pipelines, workflow integrations or platform components.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data transformation, data validation and system integration.
• Experience working with enterprise applications, dashboards, reporting platforms, workflow systems or internal web applications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical designs and working solutions
• Experience producing explainable insights, recommendations, exception analysis or decision‑support outputs.
• Familiarity with enterprise data sources such as workflow tools, delivery platforms, code repositories, reporting databases, document repositories or file based ingestion.
• Good understanding of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid software delivery environments.
• Experience supporting testing, defect resolution, deployment and production readiness.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills.
