Job summary

Sentosa Development Corporation in Singapore seeks an Assistant Manager, Data & AI to drive hands-on engineering, deployment, and operational health of data and AI platforms. You will build scalable pipelines and secure cloud solutions while aligning with government standards.

The role covers AI application development, data infrastructure, and security liaison, requiring 3–5 years in data or AI engineering and experience with cloud-native tools and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in data engineering, software engineering, or AI application development, including hands-on delivery of production systems.
• Demonstrated experience building and operating cloud-based data pipelines and AI applications, with familiarity in Snowflake and MSSQL databases.
• Experience with government digital policies, cloud environments, and security review processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute AI application development roadmap across guest experience, staff productivity, and corporate processes.
• Lead development of AI-assisted decision support tools from prototype to pilot deployment.
• Contribute to the AI applications portfolio with modular ownership and knowledge transfer.
• Design, build, and maintain enterprise data pipelines feeding the central data platform.
• Drive automation of manual data ingestion to improve data freshness and quality.
• Maintain the health of the data platform, including cloud data warehouse and analytics environments.
