Job summary

Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore, seeks an experienced AI Data Engineer to build the data foundations for its agentic AI systems. You will design data architectures, pipelines, and quality frameworks to enable reliable AI reasoning over structured and unstructured investment data.

You will work across real-time and batch streams, ensuring data is accessible, trustworthy, and AI-readable.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of data engineering experience with AI/ML or LLM-powered systems in production.
• Experience in financial/enterprise data environments and data-intensive organizations.
• Hands-on experience building RAG pipelines or AI knowledge bases, including vector stores and embedding pipelines.
• Strong fundamentals in data pipelines, schema design, data quality, and data lineage.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-ready data architectures optimized for agent consumption: structured stores, vector knowledge bases, and graph databases.
• Build and maintain data layers for RAG pipelines, including ingestion, embedding refresh, and vector index management.
• Define ontology, schema standards, and cross-domain data assets for AI usage.
• Develop real-time data feeds with latency SLAs for AI agents and ensure data freshness.
