Job summary

R Systems in Singapore seeks a highly skilled AI Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate with solution architects and Lead AI Engineers to translate requirements into production-ready systems.

The role balances applied AI development with full stack software engineering, R&D curiosity, and operational ownership, including security, reliability, and performance across enterprise, consumer, IT, and networks domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, Data, AI/ML, or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience developing and deploying software and AI solutions, with exposure to agentic AI frameworks.
• Proficient in Python, and TypeScript/nodejs, SQL, etc.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks.
• Good knowledge in LLM integration and orchestration.
• Experience with API development and integration (RESTful, gRPC, MCP a plus).
• Knowledge of middleware systems, including SSO and access control (OAuth2, JWT).
• Familiar with version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale AI-driven solutions with production-ready quality.
• Collaborate with solution architects and Lead AI Engineers to translate requirements.
• Develop secure, scalable backend and frontend components for AI systems.
• Maintain and enhance AI-enabled integrations across enterprise systems.
• Stay updated with AI advancements and conduct applied R&D.
• Apply modular code design, testing, and reproducibility.
