Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based aerospace quality firm, is seeking a QA professional to lead and implement inspection programs essential to our QMS. You will support ethics, EHS, HR, delivery, cost and CORE action plans while ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards.

You will develop detailed inspection plans, select appropriate measurement tools, and drive root cause analysis through 8D, FMEA and Fishbone methods. Rotate shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T.
• Proficient in inspection tools and equipment such as CMM, calipers and micrometers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of QMS and aerospace quality standards, preferably AS9100, AS9102 and AS13100.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with basic CAD/drawing software and strong engineering drawing interpretation skills.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop inspection plans for aerospace components and assemblies meeting customer requirements, specs and standards.
• Collaborate with Design/Engineering to define inspection methods for new parts and systems.
• Identify and select inspection tools and measurement equipment (CMM, optical, gauges).
• Establish acceptance criteria and tolerances from drawings and specs.
• Create and maintain inspection reports and traceability documents; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop inspection records including FAI, in-process and final inspection.
• Create CMM or gear programming for in-process and final inspection.
• Ensure processes comply with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
• Investigate quality issues and perform root cause analysis using 8D, FMEA, Fishbone.
• Lead initiatives to improve inspection processes and accuracy.
