Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Quality Assurance professional to lead and implement QA activities to support plant quality metrics and the QMS. The role also supports Ethics & Compliance, EHS, HR, Delivery, Cost and CORE action plans.

You will develop inspection plans for aerospace components, collaborate with Design and Engineering, select inspection tools, set acceptance criteria, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T.
• Proficient in inspection tools and equipment such as CMM, calipers and micrometers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and aerospace quality standards, preferably AS9100, AS9102 and AS13100.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with basic CAD/drawing software and strong engineering drawing interpretation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed inspection plans for aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications and applicable regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to define appropriate inspection methods and criteria for new parts, assemblies and systems.
• Identify and select suitable inspection tools, techniques and measurement equipment, including CMM, optical measurement equipment and gauges.
• Establish acceptance criteria and tolerances for aerospace products based on engineering drawings, material specifications and applicable industry standards.
• Create and maintain detailed inspection reports, documentation and records to ensure inspection activities are traceable and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Develop inspection records supporting traceability and certification, including First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process inspection and final inspection.
• Create CMM or gear programming for in-process and final inspection.
• Ensure inspection processes comply with relevant aerospace industry standards, regulations and customer-specific requirements.
• Investigate quality issues and inspection failures and perform root cause analysis using methods such as 8D, FMEA and Fishbone analysis.
• Lead initiatives to improve inspection processes, reduce inspection time and improve inspection accuracy and reliability.
