Job summary

B&H Worldwide is a leading global aerospace logistics provider. The Duty Officer guides import/export shipments from start to finish, ensuring AOG handling, cost-effective logistics and compliance.

You will interact with the Operations Supervisor and collaborate across warehouse and transport teams to deliver Best in Class service. The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive problem solving and strong communication with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail in Import/Export processes.
• Experience in fast-paced aerospace logistics environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work proactively using own initiative.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Cargowise and Dangerous Goods compliance would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export shipments from start to finish, including AOG shipments.
• Update workflow in the Company system and track shipment specifics.
• Ensure calls and emails are answered per Service Standards.
• Arrange AWBs and declare Tradnet permits.
• Ensure customs entries meet customer instructions and SOPs.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Transport for distribution of imports/exports.
• Handle inventory, logging inbound/outbound shipments.
• Address customer service issues and billing promptly.
