Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Client Relation to drive growth for PTE in Thailand, Myanmar and Singapore. You will partner with universities, language schools and migration agents to expand awareness, adoption and test bookings.

In this hybrid role, you will own country growth plans, collaborate with Marketing, Product and Recognition teams, and shape Pearson’s presence in international education and migration pathways.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in international education, student recruitment, TEFL, English language assessment or a related field.

Job Title: Advanced Specialist, Client Relation

Description:

The role is often referred as Client Relations Manager externally. As an Advanced Specialist, Client Relation , you will play a key role in driving growth for Pearson Test of English (PTE) by building strong partnerships across the international education and migration ecosystem

This role is focused on Thailand, Myanmar and Singapore market, expanding awareness, adoption, and test bookings through collaboration with universities, high schools, language schools, and education and migration partners.

You’ll wake up excited to connect learners with life-changing opportunities through English language assessment. In your first six months, your impact will be most visible through the execution of a clear country growth plan, strengthened stakeholder partnerships, and measurable progress against key sales and growth metrics. What sets this role apart is the opportunity to combine strategic ownership with hands-on market engagement in a purpose-driven, global organisation.

The Role

This role exists to support and execute the country growth strategy for PTE, working closely with Business Development, Marketing, Recognition, and Product teams across Asia. You will represent Pearson in the local market, position PTE as a trusted high-stakes English test, and help shape Pearson’s presence within international education and migration pathways.

What You’ll Own

Success in this role is defined by outcomes and ownership:

  • Market growth execution : Own and deliver a country-level tactical plan aligned to regional strategy, driving test bookings and achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strategic partnerships : Develop, manage, and grow partnerships with education and migration agents, universities, high schools, and language and test-prep providers.
  • Market influence & brand presence : Proactively position PTE through presentations, events, and industry engagement, increasing brand awareness and product understanding.

You’ll also act as a source of local market intelligence—sharing insights, trends, and ideas to help inform business, capacity, and product strategies.

About You

You bring strong experience in international education or English language learning, along with a collaborative and impact-driven mindset.

  • You bring 5+ years’ experience in international education, student recruitment, TEFL, English language assessment or a related field, with proven success working with education or migration stakeholders.
  • You think strategically and execute with confidence, translating plans into measurable business growth.
  • You build credibility quickly, influence through strong relationships, and communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Whether working independently or cross-functionally, you thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
  • You are highly organised, commercially minded, and customer-focused.
