Qualifications

  • Hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Engineering or related disciplines such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.
  • Professional experience in the aviation industry or teaching experience at a higher educational institution will be advantageous.
  • Candidates with only a bachelor’s degree will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Teach up to six hours per week in class during a nine-week term.
  • Deliver engaging instruction to undergraduate and graduate students using visuals and technology.
  • Contribute to course instruction for Engineering modules as listed.

The Asia office, under the Worldwide campus, is looking for a passionate educator to support the course instruction to groom aviation leaders of tomorrow. The identified educator should demonstrate passion and extensive knowledge in the subject matter and be open to using engaging visuals, technologies and methods to facilitate knowledge transfer and interaction with undergraduate and graduate students.

The identified adjunct faculty may be able to teach some or all of the following module(s) related to Engineering:

  • Signals & Systems
  • Solid Mechanics
  • Digital Circuit Design Engineering
  • Materials and Structures
  • Electronics
  • Thermodynamics
  • Instrumentation and Data Acquisition
  • Mechatronics

The list above is non-exhaustive.

Qualifications
  • Holds a master’s or doctoral degree in Engineering or related disciplines such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc. Confident in engaging large groups of students Professional experience in the aviation industry or teaching experience at a higher educational institution will be advantageous.

Note: This is an adjunct position where the faculty will be engaged for a nine-week term in a classroom setting, based in Singapore. The faculty member will be required to teach up to six hours per week in class. Each term consists of eight weeks of teaching and one week of examination and grading. The adjunct faculty must be available to teach during the day on weekdays and/or weekends.

Candidates with only a bachelor's degree will not be considered.
