Job summary

A leading aviation university in Singapore is seeking a passionate educator for an adjunct role to teach finance and accounting modules. The ideal candidate should possess a master's or doctoral degree in Finance and/or Accounting, with experience in the aviation industry or higher education preferred. This position requires teaching up to six hours weekly during a nine-week term, primarily during weekdays or weekends. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.

The identified educator should demonstrate passion and extensive knowledge in the subject matter and be open to using engaging visuals, technologies and methods to facilitate knowledge transfer and interaction with undergraduate and graduate students.

The above modules are non-exhaustive.

Qualifications
  • At least a master's or doctoral degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Confident and comfortable to engage with large groups
  • Professional experience in the aviation industry or teaching experience at a higher educational institution will be advantageous

Note: This is an adjunct position where the faculty will be engaged for a nine-week term. The faculty member will be required to teach up to six (6) hours per week in class. Each term consists of eight weeks of teaching and one week of examination and grading. The adjunct faculty must be available to teach during the day during weekdays and/or weekends.
