Job summary

Allianz Insurance Singapore is seeking a motivated undergraduate to support underwriting and pricing efforts for motor business. You will conduct competitor analysis, assist with product development, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes.

Ideal candidates excel in finance and analytics, have Python programming experience, and can translate complex data into actionable insights for portfolio reviews and business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in business, finance, actuarial, mathematics.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Programming experience is a must (Python).
• Ability to analyze complex data across multiple sources and resolve issues before they transpire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence, persuade and motivate others to act.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work across cultures.
• AI skills such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with streamlining and transforming the end-to-end process of underwriting and pricing for motor business.
• Conduct competitor analysis, including premium rate comparisons, market insights and product positioning.
• Assist the owner of product development and coordinate with external distribution partners and internal teams.
• Independently monitor product performance and prepare slides for portfolio reviews.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and new business opportunities for distribution or management.
