Job summary

SCOR invites you to join the Actuarial Department in Singapore for a six-month internship. You will work with experienced actuaries on pricing Non-Life reinsurance contracts for APAC and support strategic market studies that inform senior management.

Responsibilities include data compilation, statistical analysis, and presenting results; you may be assigned an individual project; participate in internal workshops (including treaty pricing and the xAct tool) and support pricing during renewals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science.
• Strong mathematical and analytic skills.
• First experience in statistical analysis and programming.
• Experience with SAS and R.

Responsibilities

• Data compilation and statistical analysis for actuarial studies and catastrophe modelling.
• Possible assignment of an individual project.
• Participation in internal workshops and trainings including reinsurance treaty pricing and xAct tool.
• Support pricing during main renewals.
