Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a driven sales support professional to grow and service ACMV equipment accounts and pump systems. You will gather market intelligence, handle sales inquiries, and visit customers at their offices as part of a dynamic team in Singapore.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant sales experience, a professional qualification in engineering, and a valid driving license. Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday work and allowances apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification as stated: Professional Certificate / NiTEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of sales experience in ACMV equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with pump systems is an advantage.
• Proven ability to develop new sales and manage customers.
• Must have good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Job description

Job Scope

• Grow and service existing accounts
• Gather market intelligence on competitor’s pricing and activities
• Attend to sales enquiries, sales support and site related matters
• Visit customers at their work place/office
• Assist to monitor payments from customers
• Any related ad-hoc duties assigned by management

Hiring Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate / NiTEC, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant qualification
• At least 1 to 2 Year(s) of working experience in the sales of ACMV equipment
• Knowledge of pump systems will be an advantage
• Proven track record of new sales development
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Independent, energetic, customer driven and self-motivated
• High degree of initiative, drive and responsibility
• Must possess class 3 driving licence
• a. Candidates must have at least two or more years of relevant working experience selling ACMV equipment preferably with experience with sales of cooling towers
• b. Candidates with HVAC project engineering or pump experience can also be considered.

Employment conditions

• Working hours: Mondays to Fridays: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Saturdays: 8.30 am to 12.30 pm (One Saturday/month upon confirmation)
• 1 hour lunch break
• Smart casual dressing

Reporting relationship

This position reports to the Head of the ACMV Department.

Position summary To support the department with the marketing of Cooling Towers and Pumps & Systems for commercial and industrial applications.

1. This is a non commissioned role and recognition of contribution will be through variable bonus.
2. Transport allowance: S$800 / month (for candidates who drives)
3. Phone allowance: S$80 / month
4. AWS / Bonus: 1 month for Annual Bonus and discretionary variable bonus
5. Annual leave: for a start, 10 days
