Job summary

Eastern General Hospital seeks an experienced professional to lead Accreditation and Licensing, providing strategic direction for management systems, training, and compliance with national and local standards. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, external agencies, and auditors to ensure licensing readiness and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in healthcare accreditation and licensing, and may hold internal/external auditor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in healthcare Accreditation and Licensing is necessary.
• Auditor certifications would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall operational management direction for Accreditation and Licensing.
• Develop and implement management systems to meet accreditation standards.
• Implement controls to ensure regulatory compliance (HCSA, ISO, local standards).
• Lead training programmes and oversee supporting IT systems (e.g. e-Audit).
• Lead tabletop exercises and coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise leadership on preparedness and compliance.
