Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an Accounts Receivable Executive for a 6-month contract in Singapore (Bishan). You will manage project billing, invoicing milestones, and customer refunds, coordinating with Project Managers and Sales teams.

In addition to billing, you will support month-end close, prepare financial reports, and maintain master data. The role also covers GL entries, fixed assets, and process improvements to digitalise the Bill-to-Cash cycle.

Aufgaben

• Prepare project invoices, including milestone billing, progress claims, change orders, retention sums and final project invoices.
• Monitor project milestones and billing schedules in collaboration with Project Managers and Sales teams.
• Process credit notes, billing adjustments and customer refunds with the necessary approvals.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers on overdue payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts, resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer enquiries.
• Allocate incoming payments accurately and investigate unapplied cash or short payments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, foreign-currency revaluation, doubtful-debt provisions and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, accounts receivable, billing summaries, cash-flow forecasts and group reporting.
• Assist with GST reporting, tax documentation, audit queries and internal control activities.
• Maintain customer master data and support stocktaking activities.
• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries, adjustments, reclassifications and reversals, with supporting documentation.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and obtain confirmation of asset holdings from department heads.
• Conduct physical asset verification to ensure records are accurate and complete.
• Identify opportunities to improve and digitalise the Bill-to-Cash process.
• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve invoicing and collection issues.
• Support compliance with internal finance procedures and reporting deadlines.
