Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or general accounting preferred.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & General Accounting: manage day-to-day AP transactions and timely payments.
• Bank reconciliations and assist with quarterly GST submissions.
• Support month-end closing activities and maintain accounting records.
• Assist in maintaining subsidiary accounts and accounting schedules.
• Prepare documents and provide support during year-end audits.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Accounts Receivable: record and reconcile daily collections against invoices.
• Follow up on payment status and AR reconciliation.
• Support Relationship Managers with credit card transactions and wholesale collections.
• Set up and maintain COD and trade accounts.
• Prepare CTC invoices and handle related customer account matters.
• Assist customers and internal teams with billing, payment and account enquiries.
