Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to own and improve AP processes for a fast‑growing ecommerce client. You will drive automation, maintain internal controls, and oversee a small team handling high‑volume supplier transactions from a remote Singapore base.

You will report to Regional Finance Controller, partner with internal/external stakeholders, and ensure accurate, timely payments while resolving supplier queries.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy or related field.
• At least 8 years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience designing and driving process improvements.
• Proficiency with Netsuite is highly advantageous.

With their exponential growth and a strong belief in providing full remote work, they are looking for an experienced and independent Accounts Payable Lead to be a subject matter expert to drive process improvements as they continue to scale their operations.

about the job

Reporting to the Regional Finance Controller, you will be the key functional finance lead for the accounts payable function and be the process owner to improve AP processes and internal controls whilst driving automation to support evolving business requirements. You will be supported by a small team in managing high-volume supplier transactions and complex payment schedules. You are to ensure a high level of accuracy and efficiency whilst being the escalation point to any supplier queries whenever necessary.

skills and experience required

You should ideally possess a degree in accountancy with at least 8 years of accounts payable experience, where you have substantial experience in designing and driving process improvements. Proficiency with Netsuite is highly advantageous. You are resourceful and accountable to work independently remotely in Singapore. Excellent communication skills to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders.
