Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Finance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts. The role requires handling month-end closing, AR collection, payable aging, SST tax return preparation, and liaising with auditors and tax agents.

The candidate should possess relevant accounting qualifications and at least 3 years of experience. This is a full-time on-site position based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificates/Diploma/Advance Diploma/ Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts.
• Assist month-end closing, postings, journal entries for accruals and prepayments.
• Track AR collection and monitor payable aging with timely reconciliations.
• Prepare SST tax return and assist in corporate tax matters.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents and internal departments for accurate records.

About the role

Finance Executive responsible for day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts. The role involves month-end closing activities, AR collection tracking, payable aging monitoring, SST tax return preparation, and liaison with internal and external parties including auditors and tax agents.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations (Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts)
• Responsible for month-end closing such as posting/uploading data and updating accounting records on timely basis including journal entries for accrual & prepayment, adjustment entries, staff claims
• Keep track on AR collection
• Monitoring of payable aging report, reconcile accounts and prepare vendor payment included overseas payment (if any)
• Preparation of SST tax return & assist in corporate tax related matters
• To monitor and update cashbook on weekly basis
• Liaising with operation staff and suppliers on the costs/invoices so that all operation costs are recorded timely and correctly
• Liaising with other department to ensure records are accurate and complete
• Liaising with internal and external parties (auditors, tax agents, company secretary etc.)
• Handling and arranging all payment to suppliers & staff claims

• Candidates must possess at least Professional Certificates/Diploma/Advance Diploma/ Degree of Accounting/Finance/Banking or equivalent
• At least 3 year of relevant experience will have an added advantage
