Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage day-to-day operations including accounts payable, cash receipts and payment processing. The role covers month-end closing, journal entries, accruals, and staff claims, plus AR collections and vendor payments.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in accounting/finance with at least 3 years of relevant experience and knowledge of SST/corporate tax matters is a plus.

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, cash receipts and payment processing.
• Familiarity with month-end closing, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of SST tax returns and corporate tax matters is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, cash receipts and payment processing.
• Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and staff claims.
• Monitor accounts receivable collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Review payable ageing reports, reconcile accounts and prepare local and overseas vendor payments.
• Maintain and update cashbook records, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Prepare SST tax returns and assist with corporate tax-related matters.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to verify invoices, resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate cost recording.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and other service provider on accounting matters.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Assist with general administrative duties and other ad hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements

• Min Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, cash receipts and payment processing.
• Familiarity with month-end closing, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of SST tax returns and corporate tax matters would be an advantage.
