Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd, Singapore, is looking for an accounting professional to manage day-to-day financial operations and support accurate reporting.

You will handle accounts payable, cash receipts, month-end closing, tax returns, vendor payments, and liaise with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and timely financial records.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting, with a diploma or degree in accounting or finance, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, cash receipts and payment processing.
• Perform month-end closing activities including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and staff claims.
• Monitor accounts receivable collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Review payable ageing reports, reconcile accounts and prepare local and overseas vendor payments.
• Maintain cashbook records and timely recording of transactions.
• Prepare SST tax returns and assist with corporate tax matters.

Job Requirements

• Min Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, cash receipts and payment processing.
• Familiarity with month-end closing, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of SST tax returns and corporate tax matters would be an advantage.
