Job summary

Matrix Switchgear Design Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate records, and support timely reporting and compliance. Responsibilities include journal entry posting, bank reconciliations, GST returns, invoicing, receivables, and month-end closing, with coordination to management.

Singapore standards experience is preferred. Successful candidate will contribute to cash flow management and internal controls while maintaining audit

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic accounting and financial reporting.
• Familiar with GST and Singapore statutory requirements.
• Good understanding of month-end closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries promptly and accurately.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Record transactions per company policy and accounting standards.
• Prepare invoices and monitor customer payments within terms.
• Issue monthly Statements of Account to customers.
• Prepare and file GST returns by deadlines.
• Generate monthly financial and management reports for review.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Support budgeting and financial analysis as needed.
