Job summary

SMART ENERGY PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced accountant to manage full-set accounts across the Group, including GL postings, month-end closing, bank reconciliations and inter-company balances.

The role supports GST compliance and Singapore reporting under SFRS, with a focus on accuracy, timely closing and cross‑functional collaboration. 2–3 years of relevant experience and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA is required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of full set accounting experience; audit experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, adjustments, accruals, prepayments and other accounting entries.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities for all Group companies.
• Prepare bank reconciliations for Group companies and investigate differences.
• Perform inventory reconciliation and ensure proper stock cut-off.
• Record, review and reconcile inter-company transactions.
• Assist with Singapore GST, audit support and compliance.
• Provide accounting support to AP/AR and cross-functional teams.
