Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in full-set accounting, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and professional certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Title:

Accounting/ Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, manage accounting processes, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. System: Desktop QuickBooks (QB)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Form CS submission & ECI Submission
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records, documentation and annual return
• Preparing GST and submission.
• Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Handle payroll processing and employee expense claims where applicable.
• Submitting CPF submission
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
• Liaise with banks, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders on financial matters.
• Daily bank monitoring and DBS file update with exchange rate
• Export shipment bank documentation – DAP, LC etc
• Weekly TR Loan repayments, apply for pre-shipment loan/ post shipment loan and conversion of pre shipment loan
• BG renewal with banks
• Logistic invoice entry in (QB)
• Intercompany SOA statement
• Monthly expenses payments and issuing rental invoice to 2 tenants

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience handling full set of account
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Finance/Accounts Manager, Accounting Manager, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good leadership and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in budgeting and financial planning.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Navision/ QuickBooks systems is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.

Salary:

• Competitive salary package based on experience and qualifications.
• Salary range: $4,000 - $4,800
