WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an diligent finance assistant to manage daily accounting tasks, focusing on AP and AR processes, invoicing, and cash receipts.

You will verify invoices, prepare payments, and assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and intercompany reconciliations, using Xero to maintain clear records.

The role offers exposure to audit preparation and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Responsabilités

• Handle daily AP and AR transactions, including invoice processing, payments, and receipts.
• Verify supplier invoices, supporting documents, and approvals before processing payments.
• Prepare payment vouchers, online bank transfers, staff claims, and reimbursements.
• Issue customer invoices and credit notes, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Record financial transactions accurately in Xero and ensure all entries are supported by proper documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, account schedules, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documents for audit purposes.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and outstanding matters.
• Maintain organised electronic accounting records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
