Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring a junior accounting assistant to handle daily AP/AR transactions, verify invoices and prepare payments. You will work with Xero and MS Excel in a collaborative finance team.

Fresh graduates are welcome; basic accounting knowledge and attention to detail are valued. Training will be provided, and you will gain practical experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting.

Qualifications

Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) transactions.
Handle daily Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
Check supplier invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
Prepare payment vouchers, bank transfers and staff reimbursements.
Issue customer invoices and credit notes, monitor incoming payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
Record and update financial transactions using Xero.
Assist with month-end closing and journal entries.
Prepare supporting documents for audits and financial reporting.
Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments on accounting matters.
