Job summary

A financial services company based in Singapore is seeking an Accounting Clerk to handle data entry and the migration of historical accounting data into the Odoo system. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Accountancy and 1–2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or data entry. Responsibilities
  • Execute the migration of historical accounting data (AP, AR, GL) from Excel into the Odoo system based on provided instructions and templates.
  • Accurately perform daily data entry of accounting transactions into the Odoo platform.
  • Verify entered data against source documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain organized digital records of all migrated and entered data.
  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable entries in Odoo as directed.
  • Assist with month-end closing by preparing assigned journal entries and reconciliation schedules.
  • Support the preparation of audit and tax filing documents by compiling requested data from the system.
  • Perform other related data entry and clerical duties to support the finance team.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting data entry, bookkeeping, or a similar hands‑on role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Strong aptitude for working with data and spreadsheets.
  • Hands‑on experience with Odoo is advantages, but not necessary.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in data entry and processing.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, work systematically on structured tasks, and manage workload effectively.
  • Proactive attitude, good time management, and a reliable, task‑oriented work ethic.
