Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a contract accounting associate in Singapore to handle full cycle AP/AR duties, process supplier payments and customer invoices, and prepare journal entries and audit schedules. You will manage ageing reports, liaise with agencies and auditors, and contribute to process improvements to boost efficiency.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Business, such as N-Level, O-Level, A-Level, Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing and reconciliations.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to identify process improvements and work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including supplier payments, invoice processing, customer invoice issuance, credit notes, ageing reports and collections.
• Process journal entries for adjustments, accruals and intercompany charges.
• Prepare audit schedules and reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Respond promptly to queries and requests from client agencies and stakeholders, including agency staff, auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Identify process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance productivity and efficiency.
