Job summary

Jet Aviation Singapore is seeking an Accounting Specialist for a 6-month contract to manage accounts payable processes and payments with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 2 years of relevant AP accounting experience, a Diploma/Associate degree in accounting or finance, and proficiency in Excel. Onsite work with a strong focus on compliance, process improvements, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, verify, and process supplier invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Match invoices against purchase orders, goods receipts, and supporting documentation, ensuring all required approvals are obtained.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, duplicate invoices, missing approvals, and incorrect charges.
• Record invoices, credit notes, adjustments, and payments in the ERP system accurately.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
• Reconcile supplier statements, monitor aged payables, and follow up on outstanding or disputed balances.
• Maintain records and respond to supplier and internal queries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures, tax requirements and standards.
• Safeguard confidential financial information and contribute to process improvements and other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
