Job summary

Esco Lifesciences Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Regional Accounting Shared Services Leader to oversee accounting operations across the region. The role manages financial reporting, compliance, working capital and cash flow, while leading a regional SSC team based in Bintan, Indonesia.

You will drive process standardisation across OtC, PtP and GL, ensure IFRS and statutory reporting, and support ERP initiatives such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent desirable.
• Experience leading regional Shared Services or Finance Shared Services operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Singapore accounting standards, GST, corporate tax and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and group policies.
• Lead and develop the regional Shared Services team based in Bintan, Indonesia.
• Drive process optimisation across OtC, PtP and GL.
• Drive cash flow optimisation through effective management of receivables, inventories and payables.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Oversee reconciliations, treasury activities, and cash flow forecasting.
• Support ERP optimisation and digital transformation initiatives, including Dynamics 365 BC.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting organisation.

Main Duties

We are seeking an experienced Regional Accounting Shared Services Leader to oversee accounting operations and shared services activities across the region. The role is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, working capital management, cash flow optimization, process standardisation, and leading a regional shared services team based in Bintan, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and group policies.
• Lead and develop the regional Shared Services team based in Bintan, Indonesia.
• Drive process optimisation across Order-to-Cash (OtC), Procure-to-Pay (PtP), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
• Drive cash flow optimisation through effective management of receivables, inventories, and payables.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Oversee account reconciliations, treasury activities, and cash flow forecasting.
• Support ERP optimisation and digital transformation initiatives, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting organisation.

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• 8-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Prior experience leading Accounting Shared Services or Finance Shared Services operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Singapore accounting standards, GST, corporate tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience leading regional teams and driving OtC, PtP and GL process improvements.
• Strong working capital management and cash flow optimisation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP) is an advantage.
• Audit background is preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
