Job summary

InternSG is seeking a meticulous Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience across bookkeeping, payroll, and corporate secretarial tasks. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients and learn from seasoned professionals in a professional environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, have a basic understanding of accounting principles, and are proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB) is an advantage
• Responsible, reliable, and eager to learn in a professional environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and accurate data entry into accounting systems
• Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist with payroll processing and ensuring timely and accurate payroll records
• Provide support for corporate secretarial tasks, including maintaining statutory records and documentation
• Assist with filing and organisation of financial documents
• Support the team with any other accounting and administrative tasks as required
